Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
SOPs are very similar to work instructions and assembly procedures but encompass a wider range of tasks.
For example, an SOP may include operating a forklift or a specialty machine where the operation needs to be completed in a certain way to be efficient and safe.
SOPs create alignment for all employees conducting the same task, resulting in consistent output.
